Are Canadian condo builders and developers targeting Germany?
While refreshing ourselves recently with material on construction site standards at the Vancouver Public Library's central branch, we came upon

published by CMHC in 1997.
Get this, under Notes:

Here is one especially revealing difference:

We came upon a fascinating study recently at our local library. You published it in July of 1997. It's called, A Comparison of Canadian and German Building Methods, Codes and Standards for Wood-Frame Construction. What was the purpose of that study and how has it been used?
